I trust all is well 🙂
I’ve decided to share some design work that I’ve done without the intention of really doing a design job. I’ve done some designs that were either very last-minute favours for people or done out of complete boredom (or rather, done when I was avoiding working on college assignments).
This poster, for example, was a quick 5-minute design that I did to replace a hand drawn poster that was up in the gym where I work part-time. The original poster had a little character in the “Downward Facing Dog” position, with the text running along its body. I would have loved to copy that idea, but that would mean using a stick figure, and (maybe it’s just me) I don’t like printed stick figures as much as I like their hand drawn counterparts. So, instead of copying the poster, I improvised a little.
I used some free vector resources in this poster, just to make the job go that much quicker. I’m quite happy with how this turned out, it’s really basic (what my boss wanted) and to-the-point. Maybe someday, in the near future, I’ll work on making something more elaborate.
I believe I’ve said more than enough 😉 Here’s the poster! Comments are always welcome – let me know what you think of this design, make suggestions, etc. I’d love some opinions 🙂
